There have been a few changes the flu shot schedule in October due to delays in recieving the vaccine from the manufacturer. The days that were originally scheduled to be held in Gary (Oct 5th) & Toronto (Oct 7th) have been POSTPONED and will be rescheduled as soon as the new shipment arrives.

BTW… the Clear Lake Community Club determined at their annual membership meeting to collaborate with DADi on this Community Calendar, and will be utilizing this as their primary calendar. Awesome to see our organizations continuing to work together!!

With some community input, we felt it was a good idea to change the look of the fall months slightly. All the events have remained the same, you will just notice a different calendar color and graphic.
We hope you are finding the calendar useful. Comments on the usefulness and formatting are always encouraged!
The DADi Calendar has now been updated! The calendar is now printable and easier to read. Click on the “Community Calendar” link at the top of this page, then scroll to the bottom. The July and August calendars are available for viewing right now!
Remember, if you’d like to add an event to the calendar, please email Briana at briana.hoffman@rurallearningcenter.org or Angela at askjenstad@jacks.sdstate.edu.

You may notice a new link at the top of the page titled ‘Community Calendar.’ Yep, that’s right! DADi now has a calendar with all of the events for Clear Lake and the surrounding areas located right on this very page!
The calendar may seem a bit sparse now, but, as summer continues, it is sure to fill up with events of every kind. Looking for something to do this weekend? Check the calendar! When was that important meeting you were supposed to go to? Take a peek!
However, we can’t possibly know about everything in a 40 mile radius here at DADi. So, if you think of something that we’ve missed or that you would like to have displayed on the calendar, we can take care of that, too. First, when scrolling to the bottom of the calendar, you will see a button that states ‘Add Event.’ It’s that simple, just point, click, and post! Your event is now displayed on the calendar for the entire community to see! On the other hand, if you would be more comfortable with us posting the event for you, that can happen, too.
To contact us, you can either make a comment on this post, e-mail Briana at briana.hoffman@RuralLearningCenter.org or Angela at askjenstad@jacks.sdstate.edu, or call/stop in the office. You are always welcome here!
